About the Atlanta Bitcoin Conference
TABConf is The Atlanta Bitcoin Conference — an event for building communities, providing education, and supporting developers. This is a conference where no one can “buy” a talk. We like to think of this as the most inclusive, organic, grassroots event possible for Bitcoin.
The 2021 Bitcoin technology conference in Atlanta (TABConf) at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) will kick off on November 4. All COVID-19 safety precautions are strictly followed so you can enjoy yourself comfortably and freely among others in the world’s largest energy efficient convention center.
We are planning to have a heavy workshop schedule on day 1 of the conference, November 4th. The next 2 days, November 5th – 6th, will be panels, talks, and village activities. There are still opportunities to run workshops on the 5th – 6th, but this would need to be done with coordination of a village leader.
Whether you’re in the business or startup sector, the technology world, or are interested in buying Bitcoin for personal investment, this convention is for you.
What better chance to meet people from all over the world while being able to advance your future and opportunities? Let’s dive into all of the exciting details of this cryptocurrency super event.
Villages are rooms for creative communities to run their own agenda and activities at the conference. Examples of these villages are: privacy, socratic questioning, bitcoin gaming, etc. These rooms add a unique experience to the conference which allows attendees to focus and spend time with a group of interest.
As part of a village, you are essentially a key part in building a foundation of something great. Think of it as setting a course for your future. Different types of villages that will be available are: Bitcoin gaming, privacy, Socratic questioning, and more.
Independence Village: Learn how to become more digitally independent, whether you are a novice or expert.
BitDevs Socratic Village: Discuss and participate in the research of Bitcoin technology and protocols. This also ranges from novice to expert.
The way we are supporting Bitcoin after the conference is donating to Brink and OpenSats, both 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. These organizations exist to strengthen the Bitcoin protocol and network through fundamental research and development, and to support the Bitcoin developer community through funding, education, and mentoring. The money we donate to Brink and OpenSats will come from a percentage of ticket sales and activities throughout the event like the charity poker tournaments.
